What I Don't Like About BTTW

When considering taking part in a Business Opportunity it is always a good idea to check out the character and the integriy of the person who runs the company.

The CEO and founder of Big Ticket To Wealth (BTTW) is Gerald Van Yerxa from Canada who has spent many successful years online and in network marketing and was previously a past president of United Way and co-owned a chain of radio stations. He has also done Charity Work and he is upfront about the fact that he is a Christian and he shares his convictions and beliefs openly with people.

It is obvious from the pictures of his house and from all the toys that are displayed on his video on the BTTW website that he has made a lot of money, but not only that he does seem to have a genuine and sincere desire to help other people succeed also.

This is apparent from BTTW's Compensation Plan, which is extremely generous and possibly the richest in the world for a legitimate business.

The way that this works is that you earn up to $900 from anyone who joins the Business from your website and up to $50/month in residual income from each person. In addition to that you earn up to $900 from anyone who is recruited by the person that you recruited. So the Compensation Plan has everything:

*large up-front commission;
* residual income;
* very generous leveraged income.

What I don't like about BTTW

BTTW has four Entry Levels. These are:

* Presidential package, (which pays out $900)
* Executive package (which pays out $500)
* National package (which pays out $300)
* Direct Sale Hobby Pack package (pays $100).

For anyone who can afford to join at Presidential Level and is good at Marketing and recruiting they could earn a lot of money in a short space of time.

But you don't earn the really big amounts of commission until you reach the Presidential Level.

However, it is possible to come in at a lower level, say Executive Level and then pay the extra at a later date to go up to Diamond Level. You still get generous Commission amounts at the Executive Level.

For anyone who can't afford the Executive Level joining fee you can join up for a low fee at the National Level and benefit from all the Internet Marketing Training. It is Newbie friendly so you can work your way up to Diamond Level by paying the difference in the joining fee at a later date. Meanwhile, you can learn from all the Training Materials and there is plenty of those.

The flash video products alone cost up to $1500 a minute for BTTW to produce. In addition to that there are Webinar Training sessions three times per week with live Q & As which get archived so you can watch them as often as you like.

There are several other really good points about the way that "Big Ticket To Wealth" is run, For example:

* the company does not compete for business online with its members. It does not advertise with "Pay Per Click" or with "Sponsored Listings" on the Search Engines. It thinks that would be unfair, whereas some companies do advertise and do compete with their members;

* many people have joined schemes where they have had to pass up Commission to their sponsor. With BTTW you do not pass up a single sale to your sponsor (unless you fall behind with your monthly admin fee but then you get a grace period to catch up);

* There is an Automatic Setup process for you, called "Jumpstart";

* there is a "Plan of Action" for Newbies, a Downloadable plan for the first 30 days.

* there is a multitude of online and offline tactics for driving traffic to your website;

* there are free online marketing tools;

* there is a good automated Support System including by phone, email, live messaging and voice over internet.

All this means that there is plenty of support to help you grow your home business and make money.

So, unless you're already really good at Marketing and Recruiting BTTW is not a get rich scheme. To succeed at "Big Ticket To Wealth" you need to apply yourself, be consistent and have a good work ethic. But then that's the same for any good business and what's good about this one is that your sponsor earns the same as you do so he has a very good reason to help you succeed.

Is BTTW Just Another Scam?

So what is Big Ticket to Wealth (BTTW) and is it just another scam?

Those are good questions and in this article and succeeding ones we are going to explore this to see whether BTTW lives up to its name and whether it is the pathway to riches that it claims to be.

This is important because there is so much on the Internet today that is overhyped and which makes unrealistic claims and BTTW makes some big claims such as,
"Discover An Amazing Internet Marketing Program That Will Explode Your Ability To Make Money Online - Despite The Economy - Where Seasoned Marketers Can Triple Their Incomes & Newbies Can Earn Money Fast!"

Overview of BTTW

The Company was founded in 2007 by Gerald Van Yerxa, who is based in Canada. BTTW provides its members with an Internet Marketing business, which you can run from home. The Company claims that it can help you become wealthy in two different ways:

* teaching you how to market products on the Internet;

* by recruiting others for which you earn commission.

There are many home businesses today so how does this one stack up?

BTTW's Training Material

The company claims to have what is probably the biggest collection of Internet Marketing Training Articles and videos available online. This does seem a valid claim as it is hard to believe that anyone could rival such a huge collection of resources - it is enormous.

When you first join the Company you are presented with an audio by Gerald Van Yerxa, the founder and CEO of the company, who guides you through your first steps with Big Ticket.

The Training Material is split into the following categories:

* For Beginners;

* For Intermediates;

* For Advanced Marketers.

* Free and Low-Cost Marketing Strategies;

* Paid and Advanced Marketing Strategies.

and new material is being added every week.

So the Training is graduated and takes you through from "Jump Start" to cover all aspects of Internet Marketing including Finding Keywords, Banners,Article Marketing, Autoresponders, using Squidoo and Facebook to market and loads more.

A lot of the training is done by video and by webinars and there is some very comprehensive documentation also, For example the "$10K Per Month Handbook" is more than 450 pages in length.

Big Ticket To Wealth (BTTW) certainly lives up to its claim to have a huge amount of Internet Marketing Training Material.
